Eph 4:4-6 “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord [Jesus], one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.”
Peter says, “God has made him [Jesus] both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified.” And that Jesus is Lord of all. (Acts2:36, 10:36)
Paul confirms this truth in 1 Cor. 8:4, “…that there is no God but one.” (1 Cor. 8:6) “…for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
There is only ONE GOD, the Father.
And ONE Lord, Jesus the Christ, the Son of the Father [2 John 3]
Very simple!
Hence, “…every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil 2:11)
Scriptures are clear over and over again that there is a distinction between the ONE GOD and his human son, Christ Jesus, who is the one Lord.
ONE GOD, ONE man!
“For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.” (1 Tim. 2:5)
Jesus is still a human being in his resurrected body! Jesus is a man, not God.
This is simple truth.
